Our Story

Thomas and Cynthia were introduced by a mutual friend. Initially they were both hesitant to pursue a conversation with someone they knew nothing about and had not met in person. After a few years of unsuccessful online dating, they both decided to give it a shot. On June 6, 2007, Thomas made contact with Cynthia via e-mail to secure a reasonable time to call her the next evening. On June 7, 2007, Thomas and Cynthia spoke over the phone for the first time. It was pure bliss! The conversation lasted for 6 hours!! Over the next couple of weeks, the pair would exchange e-mails and text messages and they would spend countless hours talking on the phone. After several months of dating, Cynthia and Brianna finally met face to face. They hit it off and established a wonderful relationship. On July 10, 2008, Thomas proposed to Cynthia at his family reunion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He serenaded her with a song he had composed. She broke down in tears and accepted his proposal. The happy couple eventually moved to Pennsylvania on September 19, 2008. Thomas, Cynthia, and Brianna are enjoying life in their new home and look forward to spending more time together as a loving family.

Our Wedding

Our wedding will take place during Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at The Villa in Beltsville, Maryland. Dr. James Jackson will perform the ceremony promptly at 11:00 a.m. Join us for cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony.

Our Reception

Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place in different rooms within The Villa located in Beltsville, Maryland and, therefore, it will not be necessary to drive from one location to another. Guests are encouraged to brush up on their dance moves in preparation for the reception!!

Travel Arrangements

From North points (Baltimore, Philadelphia): Take 95 South to Exit 29B (MD 212 West). After you exit, take the first right into the business and shopping center complex. Inside the complex, turn right at the first stop sign. The Villa is at the bottom of the hill. All others: Take 495 to 95 North. Follow 95 North to the first set of exits and take exit 29B (MD 212 West). After exiting, take the first right into the business and shopping complex. Inside the complex, turn right at the first stop sign. The Villa is at the bottom of the hill.
